Using Recycled PET Bottles to Make Roast Chicken Boxes

Did you know that until last year, the use of recycled PET bottles to make food packaging materials was prohibited by Taiwan's Food and Drug Administration? However, with the advancement of technology and the global trend towards environmental protection and circular economy, recycled materials are now produced much cleaner and safer, while reducing carbon emissions by over 50% compared to virgin materials. And it was allowed to use in Taiwan now!

Therefore, this year, we combined this trend and developed roast chicken boxes using recycled PET bottle material (referred to as PCR PET) and heat-resistant technology. Compared to commonly used non-recyclable OPS and non-consumer post-recycled PP materials on the market, our product has the following features:

1. Lid: Made of transparent PCR CPET material, using recycled PET bottle materials as recycled materials. It can withstand temperatures of up to 90°C and has anti-fogging properties.
2. Base: Made of black PCR CPET material, using recycled PET bottle materials as recycled materials. It can withstand temperatures of up to 220°C and can be used in a convection oven.
