Chinese takeaway box

​In the United States, Chinese food has always been the first choice for people to take away. Whether it's for a party or an office, it's convenient and easy to hold the food in your hand.
 
The Chinese take-out box, which is often seen in American movies, was not created by the Chinese but by the Americans.
Back in time to the late 19th century, the West Coast of the United States was famous for its oyster fishing. Most of the workers came from Asia. They would fold paper into square boxes to hold the oysters.

As the price of oysters rose, people chose to package them in more elegant ways, and the original Oysterpail take-out boxes were used for Chinese take-out.
 
In the 1970s, Fold-Pak standardized the look and design of the oyster barrel, a look that is often seen in movies today.
